Surprising - regional - traditional grandmother's dishes

At the Taube restaurant, the concept "back to the roots" is lived. In 1998, the decision was made to return the restaurant to its original name, the Taube. In 1772, traditional Swiss dishes were already being prepared here under this name. And with the new old name, the concept also returned.

Today, the kitchen team prepares old traditional original dishes in a modern way. The joy of cooking from the last 100 years can be felt here. With our traditional Swiss specialities, we make our contribution to Lucerne's down-to-earth gastronomy. We love and cultivate local food just like in our grandmother's day.

From 01:45 PM until 5:30 PM we will serve you from our afternoon menu.

Terrace at the world-famous Nadelwehr

Our spacious terrace is located directly next to the historic Reuss needle weir and is open during the summer months. It offers space for up to 120 people. While the fresh glacier water flows behind the Reuss, we serve you our delicious and hearty Swiss specialties on the most famous river in Central Switzerland.
